कदा नवरसार्द्रार्द्रसम्भोगास्वादनोत्सुकम्।
Kadā navarasārdrārdrasambhogāsvādanotsukam|
प्रवर्तेत विहायान्यन्मम त्वत्स्पर्शने मनः॥९.१॥
Pravarteta vihāyānyanmama tvatsparśane manaḥ||9.1||
When my mind, thirsting to taste the delight, ever moist with fresh and fresher juice, having abandoned the other, will turn to touching You?||9.1||
त्वदेकरक्तस्त्वत्पादपूजामात्रमहाधनः।
Tvadekaraktastvatpādapūjāmātramahādhanaḥ|
कदा साक्षात्करिष्यामि भवन्तमयमुत्सुकः॥९.२॥
Kadā sākṣātkariṣyāmi bhavantamayamutsukaḥ||9.2||
When I, in love with You alone, for whom the great wealth is but the worship of Your feet, longing, shall I behold directly You?||9.2||
गाढानुरागवशतो निरपेक्षीभूतमानसोऽस्मि कदा।
Gāḍhānurāgavaśato nirapekṣībhūtamānaso'smi kadā|
पटपटिति विघटिताखिलमहार्गलस्त्वामुपैष्यामि॥९.३॥
Paṭapaṭiti vighaṭitākhilamahārgalastvāmupaiṣyāmi||9.3||
When then I, with a mind become independent of everything by the force of dense love, — with a crack having torn off all the great bolts — shall I come to You?||9.3||
स्वसंवित्सारहृदयाधिष्ठानाः सर्वदेवताः।
Svasaṁvitsārahṛdayādhiṣṭhānāḥ sarvadevatāḥ|
कदा नाथ वशीकुर्यां भवद्भक्तिप्रभावतः॥९.४॥
Kadā nātha vaśīkuryāṁ bhavadbhaktiprabhāvataḥ||9.4||
When, O Lord, by the power of devotion to You shall I subjugate all deities, whose abode is the heart of one’s own consciousness?||9.4||
कदा मे स्याद्विभो भूरि भक्त्यानन्दरसोत्सवः।
Kadā me syādvibho bhūri bhaktyānandarasotsavaḥ|
यदालोकसुखानन्दी पृथङ्नामापि लप्स्यते॥९.५॥
Yadālokasukhānandī pṛthaṅnāmāpi lapsyate||9.5||
When, the All-pervading One, will be for me an abundant festival of the rasa of the bliss of devotion, — he after whom and one rejoicing in worldly happiness will obtain a special name — the second half of the stanza is obscure: it admits also “will not obtain” — (nāma api)?||9.5||
ईश्वरमभयमुदारं पूर्णमकारणमपह्नुतात्मानम्।
Īśvaramabhayamudāraṁ pūrṇamakāraṇamapahnutātmānam|
सहसाभिज्ञाय कदा स्वामिजनं लज्जयिष्यामि॥९.६॥
Sahasābhijñāya kadā svāmijanaṁ lajjayiṣyāmi||9.6||
When, suddenly having recognized the Lord — fearless, generous, full, causeless, concealing Himself — shall I put to shame the masters of this world?||9.6||
कदा कामपि तां नाथ तव वल्लभतामियाम्।
Kadā kāmapi tāṁ nātha tava vallabhatāmiyām|
यया मां प्रति न क्वापि युक्तं ते स्यात्पलायितुम्॥९.७॥
Yayā māṁ prati na kvāpi yuktaṁ te syātpalāyitum||9.7||
When, the Lord, shall I obtain that certain favour from Thee, by which to Thee it would no longer be fitting at all to flee from me?||9.7||
तत्त्वतोऽशेषजन्तूनां भवत्पूजामयात्मनाम्।
Tattvato'śeṣajantūnāṁ bhavatpūjāmayātmanām|
दृष्ट्यानुमोदितरसाप्लावितः स्यां कदा विभो॥९.८॥
Dṛṣṭyānumoditarasāplāvitaḥ syāṁ kadā vibho||9.8||
When, the All-pervading One, shall I be flooded with the rasa born of the approving glance upon all beings without exception, who in truth consist of the worship of Thee?||9.8||
ज्ञानस्य परमा भूमिर्योगस्य परमा दशा।
Jñānasya paramā bhūmiryogasya paramā daśā|
त्वद्भक्तिर्या विभो कर्हि पूर्ण मे स्यात्तदर्थिता॥९.९॥
Tvadbhaktiryā vibho karhi pūrṇa me syāttadarthitā||9.9||
All-pervading, devotion to You, which is the highest stage of knowledge and the highest state of yoga, — when indeed will for me full be its seeking?||9.9||
सहसैवसाद्य कदा गाढमवष्टभ्य हर्षविवशोऽहम्।
Sahasaivasādya kadā gāḍhamavaṣṭabhya harṣavivaśo'ham|
त्वच्चरणवरनिधानं सर्वस्य प्रकटयिष्यामि॥९.१०॥
Tvaccaraṇavaranidhānaṁ sarvasya prakaṭayiṣyāmi||9.10||
When I, suddenly having obtained and firmly having grasped the great treasure — Your feet, — overwhelmed with joy, shall I reveal it to all?||9.10||
परितः प्रसरच्छुद्धत्वदालोकमयः कदा।
Paritaḥ prasaracchuddhatvadālokamayaḥ kadā|
स्यां यथेश न किञ्चिन्मे मायाच्छायाबिलं भवेत्॥९.११॥
Syāṁ yatheśa na kiñcinme māyācchāyābilaṁ bhavet||9.11||
When shall I become one consisting of pure light of You, spreading everywhere, — so, O Lord, that for me there remain not a single crevice of the shadow of māyā?||9.11||
आत्मसात्कृतनिःशेषमण्डलो निर्व्यपेक्षकः।
Ātmasātkṛtaniḥśeṣamaṇḍalo nirvyapekṣakaḥ|
कदा भवेयं भगवंस्त्वद्भक्तगणनायकः॥९.१२॥
Kadā bhaveyaṁ bhagavaṁstvadbhaktagaṇanāyakaḥ||9.12||
When, O Lord, shall I become I, having absorbed the entire circle and being dependent on nothing, a leader of the host of Your devotees?||9.12||
नाथ लोकाभिमानानामपूर्वं त्वं निबन्धनम्।
Nātha lokābhimānānāmapūrvaṁ tvaṁ nibandhanam|
महाभिमानः कर्हि स्यां त्वद्भक्तिरसपूरितः॥९.१३॥
Mahābhimānaḥ karhi syāṁ tvadbhaktirasapūritaḥ||9.13||
Lord, Thou — unprecedented foundation of all worldly pride. When then shall I become I, filled with the juice of devotion to Thee, with great pride?||9.13||
अशेषविषयाशून्यश्रीसमाश्लेषसुस्थितः।
Aśeṣaviṣayāśūnyaśrīsamāśleṣasusthitaḥ|
शयीयमिव शीताङ्घ्रिकुशेशययुगे कदा॥९.१४॥
Śayīyamiva śītāṅghrikuśeśayayuge kadā||9.14||
When shall I, firmly established in the embrace of Śrī, not empty for any object, as it were lie down in the pair of cool lotuses of Your feet?||9.14||
भक्त्यासवसमृद्धायास्त्वत्पूजाभोगसम्पदः।
Bhaktyāsavasamṛddhāyāstvatpūjābhogasampadaḥ|
कदा पारं गमिष्यामि भविष्यामि कदा कृती॥९.१५॥
Kadā pāraṁ gamiṣyāmi bhaviṣyāmi kadā kṛtī||9.15||
When will I reach the other shore of wealth — the enjoyment of worshipping Thee, grown on the intoxication of devotion? When will I become one who has fulfilled his purpose?||9.15||
आनन्दबाष्पपूरस्खलितपरिभ्रान्तगद्गदाक्रन्दः।
Ānandabāṣpapūraskhalitaparibhrāntagadgadākrandaḥ|
हासोल्लासितवदनस्त्वत्स्पर्शरसं कदाप्स्यामि॥९.१६॥
Hāsollāsitavadanastvatsparśarasaṁ kadāpsyāmi||9.16||
When shall I attain the rasa of touching You — with a cry that stumbles, falters and trembles from the flood of tears of bliss, with a face blossoming with laughter?||9.16||
पशुजनसमानवृत्तामवधूय दशामिमां कदा शम्भो।
Paśujanasamānavṛttāmavadhūya daśāmimāṁ kadā śambho|
आस्वादयेय तावकभक्तोचितमात्मनो रूपम्॥९.१७॥
Āsvādayeya tāvakabhaktocitamātmano rūpam||9.17||
Śambhu, when, having shaken off this state, in which I behave like cattle, shall I taste my form, befitting Your devotee?||9.17||
लब्धाणिमादिसिद्धिर्विगलितसकलोपतापसन्त्रासः।
Labdhāṇimādisiddhirvigalitasakalopatāpasantrāsaḥ|
त्वद्भक्तिरसायनपानक्रिढानिष्टः कदासीय॥९.१८॥
Tvadbhaktirasāyanapānakriḍhāniṣṭaḥ kadāsīya||9.18||
When shall I be, having attained aṇimā and other perfections, with all fear and every fever melted away, absorbed in the play — the drinking of the elixir, the rasa of devotion to Thee?||9.18||
नाथ कदा स तथाविध आक्रन्दो मे समुच्चरेद्वाचि।
Nātha kadā sa tathāvidha ākrando me samuccaredvāci|
यत्समनन्तरमेव स्फुरति पुरस्तावकी मूर्तिः॥९.१९॥
Yatsamanantarameva sphurati purastāvakī mūrtiḥ||9.19||
Lord, when in my speech will burst forth that cry of such a kind, immediately after which (yat-samanantaram eva) before flares up Thy form?||9.19||
गाढगाढभवदङ्घ्रिसरोजालिङ्गनव्यसनतत्परचेताः।
Gāḍhagāḍhabhavadaṅghrisarojāliṅganavyasanatatparacetāḥ|
वस्त्ववस्त्विदमयत्नत एव त्वां कदा समवलोकयितास्मि॥९.२०॥
Vastvavastvidamayatnata eva tvāṁ kadā samavalokayitāsmi||9.20||
When I, with a mind devoted to the passion of embracing ever more and more firmly Your lotus-feet, without any effort shall see Thee — that very thing and non-thing (vastu avastu idam)?||9.20||
